I heard this on the radio in the AM and now I found a NY Post article showing how The New York City Council has changed an old law that didn’t allow the sale of horses 6 p.m. and 7 a.m.
City Council Speaker Christine Quinn said;
“Laws get passed which at the moment in time made a lot of sense. As you go back and look at the administrative code, it is easy to find parts of the code that are out of date and no longer make sense.
There are some other crazy old laws that were changed by the City Council.
Mayor Bloomberg will be approving these changes to the laws in about 60 days.
