7FF1AW-37B.jpgIt has been almost 4 months since my wedding and we are still getting wedding gifts, pretty cool. Side note; we just got in our Thank You cards and have begun writing thank you notes to all of you who have sent us gifts, they should be out within the next few weeks…

The latest gift was this really cool digital photo frame from Philips. I looked it up and it looks like Engadget.com has a detailed review of it from 09/2005, so I won’t do the review thing here.

In any event, loading pictures is fairly easy. It has a ton of features. But it would be sweet if it was wifi enabled, so I can tell it to randomly choose images from Flickr tagged with a certain word.

Basically, last night I went through all our images in Flickr with Yisha. I tagged all photos I want to be placed on the digital photo frame with an obscure tag. Then I went to that page of pictures with that tag only and exported them to the Philips 7FF1AW Digital Photo Frame. It was a manual process. It would be very cool to just tag photos and them automatically rotate wireless from Flickr on that frame.

In any event, this photo frame is way cool – one of the coolest gifts we got (in geek terms)…
