Last week I wrote about a late night Digg and explained that it sent me about 3,500 visitors or so, it actually turned out to be a few thousand more the next day. But let me tell you, a late afternoon Digg sends a hell of a lot more traffic than a midnight Digg.
Yesterday I wrote a story named Google Sending Out More Google Coolers To AdWords Advertisers. Later I saw it was Digged by some user, so I dugg it myself. Then early afternoon it was made popular, and forget about it. Here a screen shot of the Digg at this point in time.
Digg sent me over 17,000 visitors just yesterday from an late afternoon home page Digg placement.
Worthless traffic? Probably… But I bet the advertises like the extra eye balls on their ads…
